Dr Sohal Goyal is a family physician in Mississauga. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 2000 and completed his residency in Ottawa.
He is currently an assistant clinic professor at the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University and has been teaching for over 15 years.
He is the Current Chair of the Mississauga Health Primary Care Network and the Chair of District 5 of the Ontario Medical Association.
He is also a past member of the executive of the Section of General and Family Practice at the OMA.
He is one of the Co-Chairs of the Mississauga Ontario Health team, and one of the primary care leads for the OHT. He is also one of the Regional Primary Care co-leads at Ontario Health.
He is passionate about system transformation and engaging healthcare providers to ensure that they are involved.
He is the proud father of 3 boys and lives with his partner in Mississauga. He is a sports fanatic who loves cheering the Raptors, Jays and even the Leafs.
