The Origins of PrimaryON.ca

PrimaryON.ca launched in 2020 as a platform addressing knowledge synthesis and translation needs for evidence-based health professionals in Ontario during the pandemic.

While numerous primary care portals existed, PrimaryON.ca was unique in aggregating, vetting, and contextualizing information for healthcare workers. At its peak, the website attracted thousands of daily visitors.

With the advent of improved immunity and treatments for COVID there was not much need to run a pro-bono COVID site any longer, so the team behind PrimaryON.ca went back to building sites for others.
